Hi bones!

The easiest way to install is to navigate to http://www.smoresoft.com/sudoku/ using the web browser on your phone.  Click the link for the game in the download section and follow the prompts.

If you don't have a data connection for your phone, you have to use ActiveSync to copy the cab file from your PC to your phone, and then use the File Manager on your phone to click on the cab file.

Let me know if this doesn't work for you, and I'll see about posting some more detailed instructions.

Hi again, bones--

Unfortunately, this means your phone is application locked by your service provider, which in turn means that you can only install applications certified by your service provider (Sprint/Nextel?).

You'll have to get your phone unlocked, which is something I can't help you with.  You might try Google.

Here's a Wikipedia article which gives a little background:  http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Motorola_i920/i930.  See the section named "Application Lockup Controversy".

I'll look into what it takes to get the game certified as well, but I wouldn't hold my breath for that.

Well, it costs $300-400 to be able to sign the application so it can potentially run on some application locked phones, and this wouldn't even allow me to sign preview versions (the key is only good for 10 signings).  This is not very cost effective for a free game, so it won't be happening.

Good luck getting your phone unlocked!
