Hello.

If a new high score is achieved, the sound is played even if the sound option is unchecked :(

I am glad it was lunch time and I was at my desk :)

Nice game! There were two variations by my family that I remember:

- 3 ones counted only as 100 (you have it 1000, I like that better)
- Scoring all dice gives you an optional free roll, but, the new roll must result in a die that can be scored or else you loose the points accumulated. It was called "around the corner". I don't know yet how you have it programmed.

Thanks!

Hi Tim M-M,

I used to play a variation with my family using 7 dice where the best score was 3 of a kind.  But then someone introduced the 10 dice version and we got hooked on the big scores.  (Wow, 10,000 points in one roll!)

We also used to play that you could lose all your points accumulated by the optional free rolls, but I hadn't heard it called "around the corner".  Good to know.  We eventually decided to lower the stress involved in the free roll by eliminating this rule.  But maybe this eliminated some of the excitement as well.

The rules I've programmed in this game are that once you score all of the dice, you cannot lose the points during the free roll.

I don't know when I'll get a chance to fix the sound problem.  I'll make a best effort to get it out by Monday.

This bug is fixed in release 1.0.3, available now at www.smoresoft.com/pigsnchickens.

I also fixed the problem with the back button not undoing the previous action.
