Danish Translation
« on: June 30, 2007, 02:05:36 AM »
Hey there!

Here's my first translation - Sudoku i Danish.
Like my Scandinavian brother from Sweden, I'm not too much into the Sudoku world (but I play every day now) - so please let me know if you find any errors in the Danish Sudoku Language  ;)

Best regards, with square eyes and always thinking in numbers and Sudoku solutions  ::)
From Denmark,

Hi Tomas,

Thanks for the new translation!  I'm not a good judge of the Danish Sudoku Language, but we'll see how your Danish brothers like it.

I'll publish it in the language pack in the next couple of days and send you a registration code as well.

Thanks again!

Hi Tomas,

Just a quick note to let you know that your translation has been published in the v1.4 language pack.

More details to come, including some new strings in version 1.4.

Thanks again for the translation!

Hi again,

Thanks for the registration codes :)
I've changed the attached file with a new one, but the changes are not very important - I just made a few corrections that worked better than what I wrote originally;
Like "New Game" instead for "New" and so on.
You can use it for the next language update if you whish  ;)

Best regards,
Tomas Lollike

Hi Tomas,

I only noticed one change in the file... that's fine, but I just want to be sure that I'm not missing some intended changes.

Also, can you translate the new strings for version 1.4?  I put them at the end of the file attached to the thread at http://forums.smoresoft.com/index.php?topic=42.0.

Thanks!

Hi again!

Yes there was only one change in the last correction, but I thought it worked better, so I uploaded it with the one change only...

Now I have downloaded the latest resx-file, and translatede it and uploaded it in stead of the last one.
I've change a few more lines, and of course the new ones.
I couldn't find the "translatorCreditText" so I hope it is the right version I have translated? I've read that you've changed back the way the creditds work, but I couldn't make out if you ment to use only the old-credit-way or if you wanted to combine the two ways?

One thing I didn't like in the 1.4 version was that when you put a number in, the pencilmarks that turn red couldn't be removed in the rest on the game (untill you fill out the square where the red pencilmark is). As it worked fine in version 1.3, I found it quite annoying, and to avoid this from happening I had to remove those pencilmarks, that I knew would turn red, before inserting the number - that slowed my completing time quite alot  :'(
I haven't yet installed the version 1.5 as I only saw the release now, but I really hope that this "problem" has been resolved - otherwise it would be nice for the next release  ;)

Thank you again for a nice program, that I use every day  ;D

Best regards Tomas Lollike

Hello again, Tomas!

Your latest translation is now available on the download page.  Thanks for keeping it up to date!

I see you already noticed that the stuck pencil marks are stuck no more in version 1.5.0.6.

Also, if you use a keyboard, you might trying holding down the "0" key on a cell that has invalid pencil marks.  It will wipe them all out at once, and as a bonus, if there's only one pencil mark left, it will make it a pen mark.  It might save you some tapping on the keys.

Enjoy!
