1.5 or 1.6

Every now and then I check the website for new versions.   A while ago, I saw Sudoku 1.6 posted.  I downloaded and installed it.  Didn't notice any issues.   Just came back to check for updates, and I see it's back to 1.5.  After investigating the forum, I don't see any mention of 1.6 at all.  However, if I modify the download link for 1.5 and change it for the cab name of 1.6 it's there.

So I'm really curious why 1.6 has disappeared off the face of the Net?

Still enjoying Smoresoft Sudoku very much.  Been working my way through the original puzzle packs, and am now about half way through Fiendish.

Hi Jeremy,

Good question! Version 1.6 was briefly released and then pulled after an issue was found with the trial version. If you upgraded from a previously registered Version 1.5, then all was well.  However, the trial version of 1.6 was broken, and it was impossible to register.

I will be re-releasing version 1.6 in the near future.  If you can get past the registration problems for the 1.6 version you have, then it should be fine--there are no other known issues with that release.

Glad to hear you're still enjoying the game! A brand new set of puzzle packs are under development and should be available in the next couple of weeks as well.
