Clear cell in pencil mode
« on: June 21, 2006, 03:05:45 PM »
If I use 0 for cleaning in the pencil mode, it does nothing. I sometimes need to clear all pencil marks and I have to switch to normal mode, where it works. Can you fix it please?

If you press and release the 0 key, it clears only the illegal pencil marks from the cell.

If you hold down the 0 key, it clears the cell.

oh yes, I didn't know about this feature. Nice!  :D

I think, that same Help file may be included in the future releases....

After more consideration, I think I have this backwards.

For the next release, I'll switch it so that 0 clears the cell, and holding 0 clears only invalid marks.  And while I'm at it, I think I'll make holding 0 also promote a single pencil mark to a pen mark.

The help file is a good idea, especially since the number of features is rapidly growing.  I do want to finish up some other features first, though.

Thanks for the feedback!

The "0" key is changed in 1.2.0.1.

Pressing 0 now clears the cell, and holding 0 clears invalid marks and promotes a single pencil mark to a pen mark.
