Well I had begun by making the odd boxes transparent but stars and galactic clouds prevented from playing the game fully, because I was unable to see some pencil marks. That is why I decided to make boxes opaque. But indeed, I hadn't thought to make only one sort of boxes transparent. I am going to try your modification, which must be better.
As far as the animation files are concerned, I simply use "Microsoft GIF Animator", which is free and pretty easy to use. Nevertheless, you have to convert images one by one to gif files, which allow less colors than other types of file. The best software I found to convert pictures to gif files with the best quality is "Microsoft Picture Manager", which is included in the "Microsoft Office Pack".
Damned, to much publicity for Microsf......

What a perspective! I have already begun to create some themes. Then, indeed, I chose to use only one background image with one color scheme. That's great, especially in full screen mode.
Anywhere, I am wondering if it is possible to make the menu appear in full screen mode, without returning in normal mode, with the two lines on top and below.
Then, would it be possible to center the background image on screen in the non full screen mode?
Finally, when I finish a game into the full screen mode, the congratulation box doesn't want to desappear when I push 'ok'. However, it does in the normal mode.

As soon as I choose Open, an error message appears and points that Smoresoft Sudoku will close (my puzzles files where in the Storage Card/Program Files/Smoresoft Sudoku folder). Then I created a folder My Puzzles, where I put all puzzles, in the Storage Card/My Documents folder, but the same error occures.
Do you know why?

Yes it is, because when the option is checked, backlight stops when the game is not on screen whereas it does not when it is on screen.
Furthermore, Backlight means Rétro-éclairage, instead of Eclairage.

#3 would be the best solution, but anyway, it is not difficult to put spp files into the Smoresoft Sudoku folder, so I think that, first, #1 would not disturb anyone.

Yes but I arrived too late to help for the French translation. However, there is only one thing to say: good job and nice translation.
Anyway, it takes between 5 and 10 seconds to show the selection screen with 5 or 6 packs installed (with my SPV C600), which is not disturbing.

Wow as I can see you haven't stopped hard working on the game (and also on this forum). Congratulations for your work, and thank you very much for your time you're giving us. It has become a high pleasure to play to Smoresoft Sudoku, and it doesn't seem to be finished. As far as I am concerned, the feature I would prefer would be the support of customisable themes.

I create manually the xml file that give all the informations for the installation. Then, I use Smartarchiver to compile all the files into a cab file.
